FAQ

Teams/Groups of two or more can include but are not limited to:

• Individuals 
• Neighbourhood associations or block watch groups
• Community groups, such as environmental or stream keeper groups
• Religious groups
• Recreational organizations, clubs or teams (e.g., running group, baseball team, etc.)
• Non-profits and service organizations
• School/university/college classes, groups or clubs
• Groups of your own making (e.g., family, friends, co-workers, etc.)

Businesses are also encouraged to participate in the program but will not be eligible for prize draws.

City of Nanaimo and RDN Staff will review and respond to all registrations. Successful applicants will be invited to attend our meetings which bring together groups from across the region.

We are still welcoming applications for 2024, participation will be limited to a maximum of fifteen teams. There is no maximum number of participants or members within a group.

The City of Nanaimo and Regional District of Nanaimo program staff will email the Primary Contact listed on the application form.
