Bylaws Revised and Given 1st and 2nd Reading

On September 15, 2020, the RDN Board made changes to amendment bylaws 1620.06 and 500.429 based on referral responses from agencies. These bylaws make changes to the Regional District of Nanaimo Electoral Area A Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 1620, 2011 and the Regional District of Nanaimo Land Use and Subdivision Bylaw 500, 1987. The revised bylaws have now been referred to First Nations, agencies and local stakeholders. A public hearing will be scheduled later in the Fall of 2020.
