RDN Golden Shoe

The Golden Shoe Hunt has concluded for 2024, and the shoes are being collected. Thank you to everyone who participated and made the 18th annual Golden Shoe Hunt another successful one. This year we had over 100 entries into the draws, and even more people out every week looking for the elusive Golden Shoe! We hope that you found some new parks or trails and look forward to seeing you out "hunting" again next year.

Winners of the three prize packs will be contacted directly.

On an island that is nice to get to whether cool or hot.

Take the ferry then move on to the “Galleries”

Where the shoe will be found near the fence under the trees.

*This shoe requires more time and travel to get to. If you cannot make it out to find this shoe in person but know where it is please put a pin on the map or send us an email at cfinnie@rdn.bc.ca to let us know and you’ll be entered into the draw!

There’s something for everyone, without fail.

The fourth shoe

is hidden in a park with history too!

Extend yourself to this little-known community gem

that features artifacts from mining past.

The machines here are like the mine entrance

and were built to last and last.

This location has seen its' share of shoes over the years

along with lots of children and cheers.

In this community park named after a very Canadian tree

under a cedar is where the shoe will be.
