RDN Golden Shoe
The RDN is excited to send you out on the Golden Shoe Hunt again in 2025. Explore both regional and community parks in the RDN from April 11 through to May 16. Each week a shoe is hidden and a clue to its location is released. Clues and instructions for the locations of the shoes will be posted weekly starting April 11. Sign up to this page to receive clues directly to your inbox each week!
- Please do not touch the shoe, but do take a photo and post on social media with the hashtag #goldenshoehunt2025 or tell us your hunt adventure to be entered into the draw for prizes.
- Place a pin on our interactive map to show us where you found the shoe or if you are having trouble finding it. You can even upload a photo!
- You must register on this page in the top right corner, to submit and be entered into our prize draws. Prizes will be drawn and winners notified by May 30th.
- Once registered or subscribed, you will also receive the weekly clue directly via email so you do not have to remember to check back regularly.

Step along the path where the cedar chips lay, the scent will guide your footsteps along the way. Not too far in, where the river runs deep, the shoe hangs just before it gets steep. If wanderlust calls, press onward in stride along the canyon, A-frame awaits, where adventures collide.

Seek what you're looking for near the falls.
Two trails can lead to this watery delight:
one with stairs, a challenging height!
Looks for the landing near where the water cascades,
the Golden Shoe awaits in the shade.

Take a long walk or better yet a bike;
this commuter trail is one you may like.
*Bonus clue: the shoe is hidden nearer to the courts than the goats.

This British Guy park is popular for for the river or channel view
with people, dogs, beavers, and other wildlife too!
Walk the trail near the river or on the road
by bike or on foot, whatever your mode.
The shoe will be close and from the road easily seen
on a stump near the pond where beavers have been.
