We received 117 surveys, 111 from the Dashwood community, 1 from French Creek, and 5 from other communities within Electoral Area 'G'.
107 of the respondents used or visited the Little Qualicum Hall in the past and the majority have used or visited the Hall 5 or more times a year.
100 respondents were supportive of Life Safety and Accessibility upgrades to the Hall and most indicated that their use of the Hall would increase with the completion of these upgrades.
The next step in the process is a report presentation to the Parks and Open Space Advisory Committee (POSAC) for Electoral Area 'G' on Wednesday, June 13th.

This letter invites you to complete an Online Survey to help RDN staff provide meaningful feedback to the Regional Board in order for them to make a decision that reflects community needs.
The mail out boundary includes the area north of the Town of Qualicum Beach municipal boundary up to the end of Rodgers Road, and the area east of Little Qualicum River. Although primarily used by the Dashwood community, all of Electoral Area G is invited to participate as Little Qualicum Hall is a community amenity for the whole of Area G.
The Online Survey will remain open until Sunday, May 13th, 2018.
If you experience any technical issues taking the survey, please advise Renée Lussier, Parks Planner at rlussier@rdn.bc.ca.
We look forward to receiving your input!
