ABOUT THE PARKS & TRAILS STRATEGY
The 2022-2032 Parks and Trails Strategy builds on the successes of previous park plans and will guide the development and management of RDN regional and community parks and trails for the next 10-20 years.
The Strategy presents the current portfolio of regional and community parks and trails (see Existing RDN Parks and Trails map), identifies trends and challenges that influence parks and trails, and summarizes the desires and aspirations for the parks system that were voiced during the project's public engagement process.
From here, it puts forward a vision and a series of goals and actions that will guide the future direction of both regional and community parks services.
