Moving ahead in 2021

In the spring of 2020, the online inventory of recreation assets (facilities/amenities/clubs/groups) map was launched and can be found here on the RDN Website.

COVID-19 has impacted all organizations offering recreation opportunities in Oceanside, however the online inventory is still an effective way of getting information and updates about what is available. With the uncertainty and complications associated with COVID-19 we have had to delay work on the other recommendations outlined in the final report. We look forward to moving ahead and working with our community partners when we are all able. RDN Recreation and Parks is committed to helping the community move forward after the pandemic and this report and map will be a great starting point.

On January 25, 2021, this project will be archived and will no longer be updated. In spring 2021, more information will come available on the RDN Website regarding the Oceanside Recreation Forums with a focus on how we can move together as a community to continue to support the diverse recreation opportunities in Oceanside.
