Remind me what an Official Community Plan is?
An OCP is a long-term plan for a community. It guides land use by describing a community's vision for the future and includes objectives and policies to help achieve that vision. An OCP is used by the public when planning future use of their land or advocating for the community vision, and by the RDN when planning related community or infrastructure projects or approving development. The update process includes completing best practices research, reviewing technical information, reviewing existing RDN policies and strategies, and gathering information and feedback from community members.
