The study is an initiative of the Regional District of Nanaimo and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and is guided by a team of study consultants and a residents’ study committee. Information about services provided to Area F, including how decisions are made and the cost of those services is being provided in an interim study report available online, an overview document mailed to every household, the project website, and 5 open houses. The study committee welcomes residents’ feedback through completing the survey, which has been mailed to every household and is now live online. There are different ways to participate in the survey:
1. Online
Sign up today! Once registered, residents can submit their feedback online.
2. Printed copy
Printed copies have been mailed to residents and are also available for pick up at each open house.
Residents can bring their completed surveys to:- Meadowood General Store (drop box available)
- Bradley Centre (drop box available)
- Coombs Fairgrounds and Events Centre (drop box available)
- Errington General Store (drop box available)
- Regional District of Nanaimo Administration Building (front counter)
- Or to any one of the open houses running until January 2023
The survey deadline is January 20, 2023.

At this Inaugural meeting, committee members selected a Chair and Vice Chair, were introduced to the Study Consultants Allan Neilson and Sherry Hurst, in addition to learning about the purpose and process of the Governance and Services Study now underway.
