Construction Contract Awarded

The construction contract was awarded to Copcan Civil. Erosion protection works are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 4^th and continue for approximately 6 weeks. All applicable permits have been obtained and a full time environmental monitor will be onsite for the duration of the work.

The sign, bench, barriers, etc. at the Oar Road beach access will be removed temporarily and then replaced once the project is complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained with safeguards in place. A material and equipment storage area at the end of Oar Road will limit parking space. Please observe all signage and traffic control personnel for the safety of workers and the public.
