The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) has received a zoning amendment application for a property at 1211 and 1221 Meadowood Way in Electoral Area F. The applicant proposes to rezone the subject property from (C-1) Commercial 1 to a new zone MU-2 (Mixed Use Meadowood Village Centre 2) to add artisan studio, recreational vehicle park, and mini storage, and remove care services and a gasoline service station as permitted uses under the “Regional District of Nanaimo Electoral Area 'F' Zoning and Subdivision Bylaw 1285, 2002".
