The subject property is currently zoned Agriculture 1 (AG1) (see Document Library), which allows farm use, residential use and accessory uses.
The purpose of the permit is to allow a dog day care (day boarding) business on the subject property for a period of three (3) years. The property is located in the Agricultural Land Reserve, though Section 23 of the Agricultural Land Reserve Use Regulation permits pet breeding and boarding.
