Youth are a vital part of each community and contribute meaningful experiences through their participation in a wide variety of programs. Youth Week Leaders In Training (LIT) Information Session - FREE
May 1, Thursday, 6-7 p.m.
Regional District of Nanaimo, Recreation and Parks
Location: Oceanside Place Arena MP Room, 830 W Island Hwy, Parksville
Aimed at giving youth, parents and guardians more information about our Leaders in the Training program. This is a chance to meet the coordinator and get an overview of the program and its requirements. There will be a short presentation, with time for your questions at the end.

3-on-3 Youth Basketball Tournament - FREE

Arrowsmith Community Recreation Association (ACRA)

ACRA is excited to once again host this 3-on-3 Youth Basketball Tournament the first week of May. All levels are welcome. Youth Week Teen Swim – FREE

Spaghetti and Mario Cart - FREE
May 7, Wednesday, 3-4:30 p.m.

Location: 198 Morison Ave, Parksville
We will be hosting a spaghetti dinner with meatballs and garlic bread for youth to eat. We will also have the switch on with Mario Cart for some racing fun. Once the event ends, we will be heading over to SOS Thrift shop for their Teen Shop event.

The SOS Thrift Shop is only open to teens to shop. Come for the free hotdogs and popcorn. Stay for the Photobooth and Live music with DJ connor. Take part in games, the spin-the- wheel for prizes, and enter for store discounts and gift card giveaways.
