Construction Update

Construction work at Dunsmuir Community Park continues in 2022. With the difficult weather we experienced in the fall of 2021, the anticipated project completion date has been extended to March 31, 2022.

Despite the challenging weather in the fall, the contractor has completed the rough grading of the site, installation of a drainage system for the playground areas, and construction of the concrete curb borders for the playground.

Work will resume at the end of January 2022. Next steps in the project include installing the playground equipment, concrete pathways, a shade structure, picnic tables, and various shades trees throughout the park.
